— The Solène way

A hotel is not a building. It is a permission to arrive somewhere you cannot quite reach on your own.

The headland and the sea path approaching the hotel
01

The place comes first

We designed the hotel around the light, the cliffs, and the way the mistral moves. The building is a lens, not a barrier.

02

Generosity over quantity

Twelve suites, not a hundred. Enough to know your name by the second morning, few enough to feel like a private home.

03

Sourced within forty kilometres

The kitchen works with seven local producers. The wine list is Provence, entirely. Pleasure without the airmiles.

Sail at dawn

A 36-foot ketch, a small crew, and the Esterel cliffs catching the first light. Back by ten for breakfast.

The table at the edge

Private dinner on the cliff terrace. Chef Isabelle Moreau cooks to whatever the market brought that morning. Eight courses, three producers.

A morning in the water

The thermal circuit follows the old Roman spring. Sea-mineral wraps, a silent pool, and no timetable whatsoever.

— Gastronomy

The kitchen has its own fishing boat

Chef Isabelle Moreau grew up fishing the Esterel coast with her father. She returned at thirty-two to cook the things she missed: sea urchin with local butter, grilled daurade, tomatoes from the cliff garden.

The dining room is open to residents and four outside tables, booked months in advance. Lunch is simple. Dinner is not.

The light here

— From our guests

We came for three nights and stayed ten. The kind of place that makes you wonder why you ever go anywhere else.

Paris

The morning sail, the kitchen table, the room that looked out to nothing but sea. Nothing was rushed. Everything was right.

London

It is the quietest luxury I know — no marble lobbies, no itinerary cards. Just the light, and Isabelle's cooking.
